Can I just tell everyone how much I love my new pajamas? They are Mom’s newest design for the Spoiled Little Ones handmade, custom clothing line and are so comfortable and warm. You see, I’m pretty small, and I have hair instead of fur, so I’m basically cold all the time. I just shiver and shiver.
The Pj’s can be made in any size, but also come in a standard XS (my size 3-6 lbs), S (7-12 lbs), M (13-20). They are made from a cuddly fleece and come in various patterns or any solid color. You better get your orders in soon though, these have been flying out the door.
Stay warm my four-legged friends.
Love,
Coco

Well, our first annual Halloween Bash was a success. We had a raffle, a costume contest and lots of time for meeting new friends! You’ll find some of our new friends pictured above. My Mom made me an Ewok costume, but I wouldn’t keep it on so she finally gave up. Needless to say, I definitely didn’t win the costume contest. Mom said employees weren’t eligible anyway, but there were so many other dogs that kept their costumes on so nicely, I wouldn’t have stood a chance. I helped pack the doggie goodie bags and I must say, those carob chip cookies were so yummy. They kept disappearing….Who knows what happened to them……
Hope to see you all next year.

These are my two cousins Bungee and Noodles. They are Italian Greyhounds and amazingly get just as cold as I do. They have it especially rough because their long necks are actually quite vulnerable to the cold. For this reason, they often need special coats that cover their necks and ears. My Mom created these to keep her “nephews” warm in the winters. Luckily, they live in Texas so the cold they deal with is nothing like what us New Englander’s are used to and they still shiver! I guess Dallas is pretty far north. For Texas that is.
Anyway, they were so appreciative and looked so sweet in their coats that I had to talk about them on my blog. I miss my cousins so much. I don’t get to see them that often, but when I do, we chase each other all over the house and run around like crazy animals!
If anyone else has Italian Greyhounds or a traditional Greyhound, they just might need a hound coat too. Mom can make them based on any dog’s measurements and inn any color you choose! They’re $39.50, just email Mom if you’re interested!

It’s getting to the point where I start shivering quite a bit in the morning when we go outside. Yuck. I hate cold weather. I’ll spend most of the winter sleeping on the forced-hot air vents in the house. Mom says it dries out my skin but I don’t care. I’m all about warmth! I hope we don’t get any of that white stuff around here for a very long time. It’s awfully tough to walk in that stuff!
Any of you other doggies that need a little extra warmth should stop in, we’ve got some fantastic sweaters and coats. Mom is even making custom coats based on your measurements. You can see some in the pictures above. They’re all fully reversible. Perfect for the fickle doggie like me that likes to switch up my coats all the time. I wish Mom would hire another model or something though, She’s always waking me up from my naps to put different clothes on me. Hello? I’m sleeping here.
Don’t forget about the beautiful wool and handknit baby sweaters that we carry. Sometimes, I wish I was a human baby, they make some great stuff for them!
Back to my nap,
Coco

Some exciting news! We just introduced our line of custom dog beds. These are all handmade to a customer’s specifications and the really cool things is that they can be made out of basically any fabric or pattern that you choose. They can also be made in any size that someone may want. The square ones are made with a washable outer cover and a waterproof inner cushion pillow that is also washable. The entire donut bed is washable. Some care instructions may vary based on the fabric chosen. The best part about these beds…..the price points! The donut bed starts at $59 and the square starts at $75. A completely custom bed for $59? Wow!
I don’t understand why I can’t have a new one of these for every day of the week. Shouldn’t a true diva get to change out her bed like she would change out her clothing?
Someday….

Well, we’re all set for our Halloween Party. We set the date for Thursday, October 26th from 6-8:30. It should be really fun, make sure to show up in costume! We’re having a costume contest for the pets and kids with cool prizes, plus games, and my favorite-treats! If you can’t make it for the whole party, just stop by and say hi.
Pictured above, you’ll see my cousin Noodles, he actually is kind of a little devil so this costume was pretty fitting for him!
Hope to see you all on the 26th!

My Mom is always trying to teach me the joy of sharing. I guess this could be a good time to practice that. I will share my fame with others. We are introducing a new section on our homepage where we will feature the “Spoiled Little One” of the month. We’re inviting all of our customers and friends to send us pictures of their little ones. It could be a dog, cat, baby or all three! It would be an added bonus if they could be wearing or enjoying something that they got here at our store. We love to see the items that we have so lovingly picked for our store being loved by others.
Just send the picture to my Mom at stacy@spoiledlittleones.com and we’ll do the rest. We can’t wait! Having your picture on the internet is so cool! Almost as much fun as sitting in the window at the store and pretending to be part of the display.

Yes, folks, it’s true, my best friend in the whole world truly is a cat named Marley. She’s my Mom’s cat, she got her back in college so she came into the family first. She’s pretty cool though, we run and play all over the house. Every once is a while, if I get too crazy, I’ll get a little hiss just to remind me that she is still the boss. That’s ok though, I like her anyway.
I know you’re wondering why I’m telling you all of this. Well, it’s because Spoiled Little Ones now carries all kinds of stuff for cats. We started out with a little bit, but quite a few customers were coming in asking for more cat things. I guess people like to spoil their cats too. Who knew!?
We recently brought in some really cute cat collars, we have great litter mats, bowls, frames and we now carry Cat-Man-Doo dried Bonito flakes. Marley goes crazy for those. She also goes crazy over these catnip-filled sleeping mats that we recently received. She rolls all over the mat like an insane animal. I personally thinks she looks kind of silly the way she acts but I’m not going to tell her that. She’s over twice my size and has actually body-slammed me before. I think I’ll keep my mouth shut.
If you happen to have a cat that you like to spoil, you should come in, we’re getting even more cat stuff in the next few weeks.

Ok, I don’t know why everyone thought this angel costume was just soooo funny. I hated the halo. Kept trying to rip it off all night. Why does my Mom do this kind of stuff to me??
So, speaking of Halloween, all fur-parents need to come into the shop and order halloween costumes for their kids. All orders must be in by October 15th. There’s a great little catalog in the store with quite a few choices.
Also, on a very exciting note, Spoiled Little Ones will be having a Halloween party! I can’t wait, there will be a costume contest, snacks for everyone, even the four-legged kids, and lost more. We don’t have the exact date nailed down, but me or my Mom will be following up with details very soon.
Anyone reading this should come join us, it’s sure to be a great night.
Mom says store “employees” aren’t eligible for the costume contest? WHAT?? No fair!

I have been very diligently reading all of the important publications trying to get a good grasp on fame and how to increase it. Some of my favorite publications are Star, US Weely and In Touch. It’s very easy to find these around our house, Mom calls them her “guilty pleasure” and sometimes hides them, but trust me, I know where all of the good hiding places in our house are. I don’t know what’s guilty about reading them, I think they are hilarious.
Anyway, some of the things I have learned about increasing your fame from reading these magazines:
-Any publicity is good publicity (mental note, must find another dog for steamy affair)
-You must promote your name and image everywhere. It’s a brand.
So on the note of self promotion, I must say I was sure that Mom must have been reading my mind when she bought this awesome lightswitch cover that you see pictured above. That’s my beautiful face on that. Mom says she just bought it as an example to show that Linda at A La Mode can make amazing lightswitch covers from almost any picture, but I think she secretely did it to help me in my large goal of self promotion. It doesn’t really matter though, does it? Now anyone, anywhere in the country can have a picture of me on their wall. How cool is that? I guess some people would prefer their own dog or maybe their child on a cover, or maybe they would like to choose from the wide array of stock patterns from A La Mode, but as far as I am concerned, we’re going to need about a dozen of the Coco switchplates for our house!
Must get back to my important reading.
